Last night we were celebrating our 23rd anniversary at a Sicilian restaurant -"you're smoopie, no you're smoopie" During our cafe corretto the table of four next to us was celebrating a birthday. As the birthday cake arrived the patrons began to sing Happy Birthday so Stefano and I sang Tante Auguri e Ta over the crowd.
I look out the window and there is a sweet red Ferrari parked on the street. Me, "OMG is that a Ferrari?" Stefano says, "Felice Anniversario, Bella," as he hands me a screwdriver. "The guys in the bathroom, you've got 3 minutes - pick me up around the corner." 2:03:23 minutes later I skid around the corner and yell, "hurry up, get in."
I immediately pull off the rearview mirror.
